Wondering...
I'm just wondering if being told by the Costco greeter/card checker at the door that she doesn't need to see our membership card means that we go there too much.

No, it means they know you can't get out without showing your card!
What I failed to disclose in my post is that she also told us we go there often enough she recognizes us.
Oh, now that is bad!
See what I mean.
We were never interested in having an American Express card until Costco offered one at no cost that returns a % of the money you spend, and also lets you charge gas at the costco pumps without having to get a cash card. It gets us to Costco more often than we would really like so I guess it is a good deal for them too

We have the American Express Costco card as well. We like to put all of our plane tickets and traveling expenses on it because it gives us a nice rebate check every year.
